Christmas in the Bakeshop

Christmas in the bake shop was a lot of fun. We did a lot of fun things like homemade gingerbread houses. We also made sugar cookies and gingerbread men. The whole class picked a partner to work with and then we got ideas on the internet of gingerbread houses and then we created them. Me and Jane decided to do the gingerbread house together so we found what we wanted to do on YouTube and we printed the stencils for it. Then we made our gingerbread dough and rolled it out to all the right shapes. Baking the dough was next, after that we made royal icing and piped royal icing to make our designs and snow on the house. Our teacher Mrs.Nikkle would often play Christmas music the last couple weeks of school. I think it all put us in the Christmas spirit and gave us the motivation to bake away. Many days we also decorated cookies with all sorts of different colors to make them look cute, so they would sell well in the cafeteria. On the last day before the break we got an order in and a customer wanted snowman cake pops so I made those and some extra Christmas ones as well. It was really fun working with the coating chocolate, and all the different colors and designs.
