Alhambra
 
From the moment I read "Alhambra" on the checklist to the morning before a plated my
half-Alhambra cake, I wasn't too enthused about making it (Hate to break it to you Mrs. Nikkel). The recipe was daunting and I couldn't perfect the spreading of ganache over it's semi-circle shape so it was just another thing to check off the list. That is until I swirled some cocoa-ed Chantilly on top and dropped a few hazelnuts on top! Right away I was getting showered with compliments on my nothing-extraordinary cake. Thanks for boosting my self confidence baking team!
